July 13th, 2005 we have decided to create a fashion blog.
July 13th, 2005 we decided to use the blogging system provided by WordPress.org
July 13th, 2005 we purchased the domain name FashionBlog.us
July 13th, 2005 we uploaded the WordPress system and the Fashion Blog was live on the internet.
July 14th, 2005 we openly admit we have no idea what a blog is, what a blog does, or even the purpose of a blog ... In addition, we truly have no knowledge of how to manage the blogging system that we are using.
May 23, 2006 we have come to terms with the fact that our blog stinks. In addition to the fact that I rarely write messages (because I am to busy building ApparelSearch.com), I have also realized the fashion blog is getting spammed like crazy. Therefore, I am moving from the Word Press program to Blogger.com (owned by Google).
June 9th, 2006 Officially uploaded the new site with Blogger instead of Word Press. By the way, I did like the Word Press software (they did a great job with the software). It was just the spam that was a pain in the neck... We will probably have spam on the new system also, but maybe we will get lucky and only have fashion postings ...
September 2006, we discovered nirvana, heaven, utopia... We met and developed a relationship with one of the fashion industries leading fashionistas. Hence, Fashion Salad was born.
The saga continues... The Fashion Salad blog has begun to wilt.
Some time in 2007, we have started a new fashion industry website called the Fashion Industry Network. This site also provides a method for the fashion elite to blog about fashion.
April 2009, we figured out how to create Fashion Gadgets. Great tools to add to a fashion blog.
2011 we have started to experiment again on WordPress. You can check out the Fashion Blogger website at FashionBlogger.org
Maybe we can eventually figure out the purpose of blogging...

By the way, we do not plan on doing all of the blogging. Please pitch in and write something interesting. This blog is not only for us to write about fashion. It is for YOU to write about fashion. Go Blog !!! |
